The teardown of the EICO 249 continues. I found it advantageous to remove the second switch, so that will go into the ultrasonic bath before replacement.

I took most of the wiring out as well, since it was in bad shape. There’s also the matter of a tube socket not cooperating…stay tuned on that one!
The Columbus hamfest didn’t have many outdoor vendors this year, there was rain on the way. It held off until later in the day, but things were still muted. There was still plenty to look at, and a decent enough turnout. I picked up a few items, so the day was pretty good.
